Masuk kedalam famili Muraenidae dan Elopidae, Hidup di Pasir
dan lumpur, 0–110 m; mirip dengan 4.7 & 4.8 tapi panjang depan dubur lebih
pendek (~2.3 kali TL), barisan gigi maksila bagian dalam lebih pendek daripada
di barisan luar, pori-pori kepala putih dan terdapat 3 pori-pori infraorbital
(yang terakhir di bawah mata bagian depan); Pasifik Barat; 126 cm.

and mud to 110 m depth; similar to 4.7 and 4.8 but shorter preanal length (~2.3

pores and 3 infraorbital pores (last below front of eye); W. Pacific; to 126
cm.
