Masuk kedalam famili Carangidae, Hidup di Dekat dengan terumbu, 0–150 m; sisik tebal besar di pangkal ekor, dada bersisik, bentuk kepala melengkung, 19–22 jari lunak sirip punggung, bercak hitam kecil di atas tutup insang, cuping sirip punggung kedua kehitaman dengan ujung putih pada dewasa, sirip dubur kekuningan; Indo–Pasifik Barat Tengah; sampai 85 cm.

Enter the Carangidae family, Live on Close to reefs, to 150 m depth; large scutes on caudal peduncle, breast fully scaled, head profile curved, 19–22 dorsal-fin soft rays, a small black spot above opercle, 2nd dorsal-fin lobe blackish with white tip in adult, anal fin yellowish; Indo–W. & Central Pacific; to 85 cm.
