kedalaman 0–65 m; sirip punggung dengan 11 duri dan 15–17 jari lunak, sirip
ekor membulat, coklat keabu-abuan ditutupi bintik-bintik pucat atau bercak
lebih besar, garis hitam di atas mulut, sirip dada dan ekor sebagian besar
abu-abu tua; Indo–Pasifik Barat; sampai 76 cm.

mouth, pectoral and caudal fins mostly darker grey; Indo–W. Pacific; to 76 cm.
